Investment Forum boards are held to the highest degree of Terms of Use enforcement. Site admins will be more assertive in responding to TOU violation reports and board moderators may ban users from posting only for TOU violations (unless the board carries a Bulls/Bears designation). Premium Forums are provided as an accommodation to users wishing to discuss non-investment topics. These forums are held to a lesser degree of TOU enforcement, particularly boards in the Politics Forum. Users are advised to participate on these boards based on their personal preferences regarding conduct of other users. Moderators of Premium boards may generally ban users at their discretion. We encourage users to seek out those boards with moderators who encourage open, civil discourse. Since SI provides the Premium forums for alternative topics, off-topic discussion on Investment Forum boards will be kept to a minimum in order to promote high quality, on-topic content. For example, partisan (ideology based) political discussion is restricted to boards in the Politics Forum.
