Andreas Re.. Joe, Re: It is something that concerns me. [no 1.2 GHz Athlons on Pricewatch]
I read this post on JC's:

Hmm.. Interesting you should mention this. I have been hearing from several people telling me the same thing: K7 is hitting a MHz wall. AMD is telling important customers they are just having a few "growing pains" while roadmaps are being quietly adjusted. <<<<<<<<

Andreas. I just called Micron, and he said that if I ordered a 1.2 ghz 200FSB DDR. I could get delivery within 10 days; which means the 1.2 ghz 200 FSB must be in stock. He also said that the lead time had just dropped last wk. from 40 days to 10 days. He also said that the 1.2 ghz 266 FSB had a delay time of 56 days; but he also expected the lead time to go down on that shortly as they were starting to get chips. He also said that most of their calls were for that model; not the low end. Micron has also made that computer their top of the line small busines, workstation computer. Call 1-888-208-1937 if you wish to check it out.

Naturally, with all of their stock of 1.2 sold out to the OEMs, it would be unusual to find the 1.2 on pricewatch. Remember in the Nov. CC, Jerry said that 80% of production at Dresden was 1 ghz or better. If Dresden makes 2 mil. this quarter and they sell for an av. of $250, AMD would have sales of $500 mil. from Dresden this quarter alone. Certainly selling all of the high end chips is not a problem. And Anand reported on Wed. that AMD had 40% of the high end market. Also, lets not forget those reports from Peter about how well AMD is selling in Germany.
