Och well thanks Jim. That was my idea. I must confess to wondering what these people are doing when a) I go away on a sabbatical or b) have a heart attack.
It makes me wonder whether I should start everything all over again. But as I founded the idea of The Reg seven years back this year, that seems too much work to me.
What do you, and the rest of the people on SI think? I know I'm in trouble now, but as I've had a heart attack, what have I to lose? Not my life, that's for sure.
please copy your replies to the following
linus.birtles@theregister.co.uk drew.cullen@theregister.co.uk
and lastly my little friend who I had to persuade, the software co-founder
john.lettice@theregister.co.uk
But, you guys, count me out, cos I'm only a 22.5 per cent shsreholder even though I started the idea and originally had 60 per cent to Drew and John's share.
Now The Register seems to be a vehicle of software, I want to have very little to do with it.
That's official.
If you want more info on why I'm so cheesed off, you know the address to write to...
