Hello Everyone,

Barry Savage was the last presenter on Day 1 of the mighty AIM 2001 conference. But he was definitely not the least.

Barry presented an interesting message on, "Accounting for AIM."

Since his entire presentation will be available at http://www.basvage.net/aim2001.htm in the next few days, I won't go into detail about it (in fact it was so complete and contained a detailed case study hand-out, that I really can't do it justice in a short post). So head on over to barry's site and see for yourself.

His AIM accounting is a very interesting topic that might be just what you're looking for to keep track of your total (not just AIM) assets.

However the big news was Barry's multi-media interlude.

He wrote a song and proposed it as an AIM anthem of sorts (which immediately brought to mind the singing of "Beast of England" from George Orwell's Animal Farm -- perhaps we will open and close future AIM meetings with this song).

However Barry not only wrote the song, but he performed it right here at the AIM 2001 meeting and even had the rest of us singing along with the course.

We're trying to get an MP3 of his performance so we can post it on the Web. But why wait? Sign up to get your video tape from Robert Gammon today.

By the way, Barry has a great singing voice and he accompanied himself on a concert ukulele. This is one performance that you don't want to miss.

regards,
mark.
