As you perhaps recall, back then margin requirements for naked options were very low....so I was short a lot of puts, Got scared the Friday before Black Monday so covered the puts at Friday's close. I was unhappy with what I thought was a very bad fill until I saw the action Monday. They would have come after my house had I not covered the session before. -Don
