I remember how Mikey used to say large acquisitions usually fail, and that they would try to grow organically. HP is WAY ahead of them, and outfits like HP have been taking PC share from Dell along with their emphasis on services.. With AAPL the new guy at the high end, they really are in a tough spot. Even so, at some point they are going to get a nice shot in the arm from the corporate side, as that is where they are most exposed and those machines at lots of companies are getting pretty old...
