Everytime I see a report from Pisani my first inclination is to think "okay, why are the floor traders feeding him this". Part of being a reporter is knowing when you're being spun. Lacking the ability to discern "spin" from real content is an especially poor trait to have when your beat is the floor of the NYSE.

Today, he does a report on INTC. Mentions that Kurlak over at Merrill Lynch is saying negative things, but goes the extra yard of adding words to the effect that "well, he's been negative for a while now". He also mentions it's down fractionally at a time when in fact it was +7/16 (Bob, green is up, red is down)

what can you say about merrill and tom except they are wrong fifty persent of the time with there intel calls
