Age Vera, ad Tempus It’s been nearly twenty years since I became a participant in the stock market. In the end, the advice of “don’t fight the tape” still holds true. The market is never wrong. If we listen carefully to its message, all that is left for the trader to do is the right thing - and it is not rocket science.

Topics for Discussion While most threads on SI typically maintain a narrow focus, this thread is not restricted to any particular subject. Playing the market is a means to an end. We don’t live to trade and you won’t find us spending much of our time outside market hours obsessing about it. Each of us developed a set of tools and techniques that allows us to make money trading so that we can have time to enjoy all of the great things in life that are free. You’ll find friendly banter among the many friends that we have made over the past few years here on SI, and sometimes we even swap recipes. There’s no such thing as “off topic” here. Anything that is relevant to a trader’s life is fair game. Everyone is welcome.
